Why I Created STYM

I’m a nurse with 17 years of experience in patient care and education, and my ADHD diagnosis came later in life. Suddenly, years of struggling with focus, forgetfulness, organization, time management, and emotional regulation started to make sense.

I began looking for practical, non-medication strategies to support everyday life. But many of the products I found felt childish, distracting, poorly made, or simply weren’t designed with adults in mind.

So I approached it the way I’ve approached patient care throughout my nursing career: research, ask questions, learn from experts, and find solutions that actually work in real life. I spoke with mental health professionals experienced in adult ADHD, researched evidence-based strategies, and began testing tools and systems for myself.

That journey became STYM.

After 17 years of caring for and educating patients, I couldn’t find something that was helping me and simply keep it to myself. The same care and responsibility I bring to helping my patients succeed is behind what I’m building here.

STYM makes thoughtfully researched and tested tools easier to find. Whether you’re neurodivergent, struggling with focus or organization, or simply looking for better ways to navigate everyday life, I want you to feel confident that genuine care is behind what you find here.

STYM isn’t just about selling products. It’s about helping people find practical tools to function better, feel better, and move forward.
